WebbMy computer was slow these past few days, and after a lot of troubleshooting with windows, nvidia and what not, it turns out that my MB has a slow mode switch... that's apparently broken or something, ant it turns on by itself, capping my processor and therefore slowing my whole computer down to around 20-30% capacity. Webb8 juni 2016 · Go into your BIOS, click on the OC button, and within that menu set, go to CPU features, then change "Intel Adaptive Thermal Monitor" to disabled. Save, and reboot into Windows and see if the problem is solved. Here's the screenshot of my BIOS setting. Usually I do not mess with OC because the PC store guy said that it will void warrenty.
