These 14 items were selected by the TIP 11 consensus panelists from existing alcohol and drug abuse screening tools. WebbScreening instruments are best thought of as a way of “flagging” that there are other important problems that may need either or both (1) further assessment and/or (2) inclusion in a treatment plan.
