Web1 Dec 2008 · In order to investigate the biosynthesis of scopoletin and scopolin during PPD, a feeding experiment was developed. Freshly harvested cassava roots were fed with different deuteriated E -cinnamic acid intermediates, at pH 7.5 adjusted to be compatible with the physiological state of the roots.
