WebIt is the only commercially available phono stage in the world with both a transimpedance/current injection input stage and pure tube RIAA and output stage. It uses a single pair of bipolar devices driven by the cartridges current. Its self-loading and works best with MC carts with an internal impedance <12 ohms.

I have only experience with the Phono Ref 2 - but is as it all - two inputs, variable loads, high and low gain, FET inputs stage with tubes, several EQs, balanced output, everything controlled from the remote. The Sugden guy is driving past this month so I can home audition the A21SE and the Masterclass Integrated. I like Class A - great SET is only slightly better to my ears, and I listen to 90% acoustic music, mostly female vocals.
