The beep sound like the one you would hear when you are already on a call and another call comes in. Adjusting the ringtone does not help. Whatever phone you have, go to Settings, Call options, or Call Sounds (possibly notifications or in call sounds.... it really depends on the phone!), and look for Call connect tones. TOggle it on or off ...
