WebFeb 11, 2015 · I preferred Dark Souls' weapon ascension much more than DS2's. Forcing the player to do things like this, being a hassle, is the core of the Souls' games. You're supposed to earn the ability to ascend your weapon higher, not find one ember and be able to get everything you want from then on. DS2 was a joke in that department. WebI love the shotel.
